How to use your Invisibility Cloak with the Wow! Stuff App

Usage Guidance

The first time you use the app you will be asked to create a user account.

Creating your account

Click on the option to CREATE ACCOUNT Then, enter your email address, and choose a password of at least 8 characters
Unless you choose to logout of the app (or restart your phone), you will remain signed in. If you do need to sign in again, use the details you gave us to create your account, and click the LOGIN button

If you forget or want to change your password

If you have forgotten your password, click on the link to RESET PASSWORD

You will be asked to enter the email address you used to setup your account. Do this, then click the RESET PASSWORD button.

Now, you will see a notification that a message has been sent to your registered email account.

Open the message you have received, and click on the link it includes.

The link will take you to our RESET PASSWORD tool. Simply choose a new password, confirm it, then click the RESET button

You will be notified once the password has succesfully been reset. Now, go back to the Wow! Stuff app and login, using your new password!

Adding & Authenticating a product

Once you have created your account in the Wow! Stuff app, you will be asked to ADD PRODUCT, by entering a number into the text box that says PRODUCT AUTHENTICATION CODE

If you chose to SKIP adding product, you can add a product any time by clicking the + symbol on the Products screen, and entering a PRODUCT AUTHENTICATION CODE

Your unique PRODUCT AUTHENTICATION CODE is a 16 digit number that is printed on the front cover of the Instruction Manual that came with your cloak. Keep this safe, for future reference! It may be used to use your cloak with the Wow! Stuff app on a maximum of 3 devices.


Why am I not invisible?

Either you are still in the setup stages of the app, and have not yet started Invisibility Mode, or the cloak is the wrong way around. The green part of the cloak needs to be on the outside for you to become invisible.

Although I am ‘invisible’, it is obvious where I am because the Invisibility Cloak is much lighter or darker than the background.

This is probably because the lighting conditions have changed after you ‘set your scene’. For a good effect, it is best to pick an environment where the lighting conditions are stable, and not likely to become much darker or lighter during filming.

I got a message saying “Invisibility Mode Stopped”

This is because the camera moved while you were in Invisibility Mode. It is essential that your device is kept completely still during ‘Invisibility Mode’. For best results, use the stand or tripod included with your product.

Invisibility Mode recording stopped when I opened another app.

If you open another app while you are recording in Invisibility Mode, your recording will be stopped, but whatever you have filmed up until that point will be saved for preview. When you return to the Wow! Stuff App you can choose whether to save or discard your video.

I am seeing a message that says “Maximum number of devices (3) already being used”

Your account is locked to the first 3 devices you use to login to the app. For security, selecting the ‘reset password’ option to reset your password unlocks all devices from your account.

I forgot / want to reset my password

If you are already logged in, go to the accounts settings and select ‘logout’ first. You can then click on the ‘reset password’ option on the main login screen. Password reset instructions will be sent to the email address that you provided during account creation.

I am trying to CREATE ACCOUNT but nothing happens when I press NEXT

Make sure the password you choose has at least 8 characters
