Skyrocket, a leading US toy, technology, entertainment and consumer products company has signed an agreement with UK company, Wow Stuff!, to exclusively distribute and market their customizable and at-home printable face masks in the US. The product, The Printable Face Mask, will be launched under the SnapStyle brand and is set to hit retail in mid October.

Wow! Stuff’s game changing fabric printing technology allows the user to replicate almost any picture, pattern, or other artwork directly onto a 100% cotton protective mask all on their mobile device. Using the Mask Creator app in a web browser, the user can scale, rotate, and position any image exactly as they would like it to appear on the final mask. The Mask Creator app also includes the patented ‘Face Wrap’ software which modifies the picture of a face, so that it maintains correct proportions when applied to a mask and worn. Users will also be able to preview what a mask will look like from any angle on their own face before printing with Augmented Reality technology in the app.

The Printable Face Mask can create a customized disposable face mask at the touch of a button. The entire process takes about 5 minutes and the possibilities in design are endless. Simply snap, or pull from a camera roll any picture, pattern, or design and use the Mask Creator app to adjust and preview the mask. Print the mask to an inkjet printer, then cut out, fold and attach ear loops and comfort nose band using the heat-activated adhesive. No sewing required! The masks can be sized to fit children and adults. The masks have been rigorously designed and tested to meet World Health Organization guidelines for barrier masks and AFNOR guidance on filtration and breathability.

“We’re thrilled to partner with an innovative company like Wow! Stuff to bring this revolutionary line of customizable and printable face masks, which is unlike anything we’ve seen on the market, to the US,” said Nelo Lucich, Co-Founder and CEO, Skyrocket. “We’re at the height of the coronavirus pandemic here in the US. The Printable Face Masks will allow people of all ages who have had their identity and individuality taken away by the necessity of wearing masks because of Covid-19 to express themselves in a positive, creative, and unique way. People will love to design and show off masks that replicate their face, coordinate with their outfit or express their individual style. By making masks more personal and natural, The Printable Face Masks will hopefully lead to more people wearing face coverings and help reduce the transmission of COVID-19.”

Richard North, CEO of Wow! Stuff said: “Wow! Stuff is known for creating the most innovative products in the world and we’re so proud to be able to partner with Skyrocket, a company whose ingenuity and creativity is in line with that of our team. We will use their expertise in marketing and distribution in the US to launch this brand new product. The Printable Face Mask will hopefully inspire makers of all ages to get creative in the current climate, but most importantly, help encourage following safety guildines established by the World Health Organization.”

Both companies agree that the printable fashion-based fabric can be expanded into multiple categories, not limited to face masks. The versatile fabric can be printed and applied to a variety of items ranging from backpack panels, hats, clothing, shoes, accessories and patches to name a few and they will be working in collaboration to bring new products and categories to market under the SnapStyle brand. The Printable Face Mask will be available in the US in October at a variety of price points and will be available wherever masks are sold. Visit SnapStyleMasks.com for more info
