Toy innovation company Wow! Stuff took top honours winning the Innovation Award at the New York Toy Fair 2020. With competing products from the giants of the global toy industry, including Mattel and Hot Wheels, Wow! Stuff won the judges and the consumers votes to take the title of most innovative toy with the Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak.

The cloak was available globally in 2019 at a retail of approximately $60.00/£50.00/€60.00. Wow! Stuff CEO Richard North commented, “The new 2020 Junior Invisibility Cloak will have an SRP of just £35/€35.00/$35.00 making it especially attractive as it avoids the near 30% tariffs imposed in certain countries. The play pattern and invisibility feature are every bit as good as the 2019 cloak, but at nearly half the price and off the back of winning the Toy of the Year for Innovation the Junior Invisibility cloak is gaining strong listings.”

Exhibiting at the New York Toy Fair Wow! Stuff’s stand also showed off a new collectable line called WOW! PODS which was featured in the Trends section and according to Richard North, Wow! Stuff’s CEO, is trending online at LinkedIn and other blogging sites. “It’s a play and display collectable in physical and digital format with the brand positioned for ‘young fans of character brands’. It’s had the highest buy in at retail of any product we’ve launched to date”, says Wow! Stuff’s CEO Richard North.
